Welcome! I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Washington.

I provide evidence-based and collaborative psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for a range of psychiatric conditions (19+). I combine medication management with brief psychotherapy, motivational counseling and health education to promote resilience and self-awareness in my clients. My particular interests are in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD and OCD. Since I do not see clients solely for psychotherapy, I encourage you to see a therapist for more thorough counseling. I will collaborate with your therapist to provide concise continuity of care. I am also happy to collaborate with your primary medical provider and any specialists in order to provide you with holistic care.  

Prior to joining LightHeart, I worked as a registered nurse in the inpatient psychiatry units at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Harborview Medical Center. My clinical experiences include Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, community and outpatient mental health. My diverse background and encounters have taught me that psychological illnesses are just as critical as physical illnesses. I believe mental health is an artifact of both personal and cultural upbringing. I acknowledge and appreciate diversity and multi-cultured backgrounds. I believe this to be an influential asset in my ability to identify with and help others, holistically.  

During our sessions, you will be met with sincere empathy, respect and compassion. My goals are to deliver the highest level of therapeutic mental health care unique to your specific needs and to create a supportive atmosphere in helping achieve your personal goals. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and dancing! I was a classical ballet and hip hop dancer and instructor before starting my nursing career.
