Manya Perkins is a provider at our Federal Way clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She is passionate about working with people in high stress occupations. She specializes in military, law enforcement, veterans, and first responders, and has worked widely with people in many different types of professions. The last 3 years have been spent at the Human Development & Stress Management Center, working with active-duty military and law enforcement to help them regain their resilience skills. She has also worked with a virtual intensive outpatient program with ERC Pathlight to provide group therapy for people who are suffering from mood and anxiety disorders. Using ACT, CBT, DBT, somatic counseling, and eclectic therapies, she provides a wide range of options for people who need innovative, personalized care. Her specialties are stress, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, crisis and trauma, PTSD, post-traumatic recovery, and post-traumatic growth. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington State, with a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. Her goal is to bring her clients back to a state of calm confidence in their ability to handle stress in their lives.
