Reema is a provider at our Redmond Medical Center clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She approaches mental health from a wellness perspective, whilst recognizing the impact of social and cultural influences on people’s lives. Her goal is to collaboratively work with individuals to build resilience, emotional health and deepen insight, and support them as they seek to understand their identity and navigate challenging life transitions. Her work is informed by neurocounseling, psychodynamic principles, cognitive behavioral principles, and multicultural counseling. She currently works under the licensed supervision of Dr. Fred Wang.

Reema is passionate about empowering adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, and bipolar disorder. This may be through the use of diagnosis, assessments, and psychotherapy, as appropriate, but also through identifying patterns of behavior that may no longer serve them. Though change can feel daunting, it can be empowering, especially when the client is in charge.

Reema strives to provide safety and acceptance within the counseling space, and as a first-generation immigrant, is fluent in both English and Urdu. She works with adults (18+) to facilitate building a life that aligns with their values, culture, and identity.
