Ari Gartin, LMHC is a provider at our Anderson Park clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She has been a licensed mental health counselor for over thirteen years, graduated from a CACREP-accredited college in Kansas, Fort Hays State University, and is a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology from Walden University. She is an interpersonal psychotherapist, meaning she works with clients to identify the messages they’ve learned that contribute to their skills for living.

Many of us have messages that have been unhelpful in our day-to-day lives and when we become aware of them, then we can decide if we would like to change them using CBT and DBT techniques, among others. If you are 13 or older and struggling with life transitions, disordered eating, obsessions, compulsions, or anxiety, interpersonal psychotherapy is a proven and effective treatment. Additionally, Ari specializes in premarital counseling and couples counseling utilizing Gottman Method.

Ari identifies as a woman of mixed descent and works with individuals who are culturally and racially ambiguous or are people of color. She also has a special interest in working with clients who suffer with chronic autoimmune disorders.
