I am a provider at our Anderson Park clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. I earned my master’s in counseling psychology from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2016. With experience working as a residential case manager and intake coordinator in community mental health care settings, I have experience supporting individuals dealing with emotional, psychological, and substance use disorders. I am most drawn to those who identify on the margins or who do not feel they fit into the box society tells them they should fit into.

Having developed the capacity to see and connect with the pain and struggles of others, I support clients’ efforts to gain insight into the sources of their challenges and pain, cope with loss, and take charge of their life. My life experiences have provided me with an ability to effectively connect and provide supportive insight and assistance to individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, shame, guilt, grief and loss, LGBTQA+, issues with religion or spirituality, life transitions, trauma/PTSD, and chronic pain and disability. Therapeutic techniques I tend to incorporate are dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).

I have extensive experience working with those who have either intellectual or developmental disabilities, through my own experiencing of having both an intellectual and developmental disability. I understand how navigating systems to access the supports one needs to thrive can impact a person’s overall mental health and wellbeing. My desire is to come along side you to help you process areas in your life where you felt like you did not fit in because maybe in your life someone told you “You are not good enough or You are too slow to do something.” I offer a welcoming space where questions like this can be explored.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in local coffee shops or reading. I am a self-identified theater nerd and pop culture junkie.
