[ ANDERSON PARK | closed to new clients ]

Lea is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate at our Anderson Park clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. Currently she is working towards independent licensure under the supervision of Holley Kaskel, PsyD.

Taking the step to seek therapy can be a daunting process that requires courage and vulnerability, and Lea feels honored to be walking alongside each of her clients’ unique journeys as they become a more cohesive and integrated version of themselves.

Lea believes that healing occurs in and through relationships, thereby creating a safe and trusting therapeutic space in which clients feel heard, seen and understood is of the utmost importance to her as a clinician. Likewise, she views therapy as a holistic process that involves the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of personhood. Lea creates a collaborative therapeutic environment in which these aspects can be explored, maladaptive behaviors reduced, and thought and relationship patterns examined that keep clients in a place of feeling stuck.

Lea provides therapy to individuals and couples using a holistic, collaborative and systems perspective, tailoring her approach specifically to each client’s individual needs. Drawing from emotionally-focused therapy, CBT, ACT and narrative therapy, she helps clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions and relationship issues.

Lea particularly has experience with and enjoys working with individuals (13+) and couples who are expecting a child, helping clients navigate through perinatal health issues, including postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as helping parents’ transition into their new roles as parents. Additionally, Lea enjoys working with clients to process and heal past sufferings, traumas, and attachment injuries in relationships.

Lea will meet your vulnerability with compassion, openness and curiosity and will allow you space to explore your identity, goals, and growth potential.
