Marifel Garcia is an Independent Clinical Social Worker is a provider at our Federal Way clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Washington. Marifel provides individual therapy to help clients address a wide range of personal challenges, such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. She collaborates with clients to develop coping strategies and foster personal growth. In today’s fast-paced world, stress is a common concern. Marifel offers effective stress management techniques to help clients reduce stress, enhance resilience, and achieve a healthier work-life balance. Marifel believes in a client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. She integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to provide comprehensive and effective treatment. Marifel has worked primarily with adults in acute settings and thoroughly enjoys working with children too! Marifel works with clients ages 8+.
