Claire Keepers is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate at our Federal Way clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She is working toward independent licensure under supervision. She graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a Masters in Education in School Counseling. Claire supports children, adolescents and adults ages 5-40 who experience trauma, school issues, ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

Claire takes an empathetic and equitable approach to therapy, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy for younger populations, and Art Therapy. As a therapist, Claire believes in a strength-based and client-centered approach to counseling. At the center of her therapeutic approach is the wholehearted belief that people are not defined by the obstacles they face.

Trauma can influence how people respond to situations in life, especially for children and teens. Claire believes in meeting clients where they are at and resonating with them on a more personal level. As someone who is diagnosed with ADHD herself, she is able to connect with her clients on a more relational and compassionate level. She is passionate about helping children, youth, and adults build on their strengths and find the ability to work, heal and grow towards living a more meaningful life.
