Clare Batley, LMFTA
Marriage And Family Therapist Associate
Clare is a marriage and family therapist associate who has worked with clients who come from diverse cultures and have varying therapeutic needs. She has worked with clients of all ages, including children, adolescents and adults.
Clare earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology in 2016 and has experience working with clients who have experienced childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, relationship challenges and parenting challenges, and other areas of concern. Clare utilizes therapeutic approaches ranging from psychodynamic, attachment-based and family systems, to cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and strength-based approaches.
Clare’s primary objective in therapy is to meet each client where they’re at, and to utilize approaches and interventions best suited for each client, and which most likely yield effective results. Clare believes in the importance of creating a warm and engaging client-therapist relationship, and in a collaborative client-therapist model in which the client is encouraged to participate in their treatment process.
She believes that a collaborative approach more fully engages the client in the therapeutic process, and may contribute to the client’s overall sense of empowerment.
