I am a clinician at our Redmond Medical Center clinic who provides therapy services!

I provide a safe space for clients to process trauma and help them understand that they didn’t deserve what happened to them. I provide positive regard, point out strengths and work to develop self compassion. Together, we restructure their narratives, so they can see themselves as strong, and as surviving in a society that wasn’t built for them.

I believe that the most important thing in counseling is the relationship between client and counselor. I provide a warm, empathetic space for clients to lay down their burdens, and to be able to share openly. It is that sharing, the ability to see patterns in their lives, and to understand what causes them to repeat those patterns, that leads to change.

I work with a broad range of clients and presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic illness, relationships and severe and persistent mental illness. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, and LGBTQIA+ clients of all stripes.

I practice through a HAES (Healthy At Every Size) lens, with the perspective of lived anti-fat bias as trauma, and I would really like to work with fat/larger-bodied folks about processing the trauma of anti-fat bias in our society and developing/increasing self-compassion to provide armor against future occurrences.
