I am Morgan (they/she), a queer, neurodivergent feminist therapist. Therapy is a process of collective story telling that derives meaning, direction, and value through vulnerability, relationship-building, and challenge. My therapy philosophy is that while I am the expert of psychology, the client is the expert of their self, and only through our mutual expertise are we able to engage in therapy. As a feminist therapist, I recognize there is a power differential between myself and the client, and I focus on moving toward an egalitarian relationship built on trust and safety. Further, I see therapy as inherently relational and I do not view myself as a white coat-adorned clinician; clients get to know who they share themselves with through my own self-disclosure.

Clients looking for a provider to build a relationship with in a social justice space are in the right place. I am dedicated to empowering clients, disrupting systems of power, affirming diverse identities, and connecting to community. My practice provides a safer space where clients can explore their identities, experiences, strengths and struggles, and how societal structures such as white supremacy, patriarchy, and ableism show up in their lives and relationships, as well as what to do about it. Together, we identify and challenge internalized beliefs and societal pressures that may causing personal or relationship distress, such as exploring perfectionism in relation to experience of trauma or gender identity. Further, my practice serves to honor neurodivergent clients’ unique strengths by utilizing neurodiverse-affirming therapy and adjusting the environment to fit clients’ unique sensory processing and communication styles.

Overall, I aim to collaborate and build relationship with clients to increase agency and efficacy, cultivate understanding, and foster affirming connections with self, others, and community. I strive to create a therapeutic space that celebrates the complexity of identities and experiences by working towards healing and societal change.
