Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I am a clinician at our Redmond Medical Center clinic who offers psychiatry services!
My ideal client is an adult who is struggling with mood-related or anxiety-related symptoms that interfere with their ability to function at work, maintain relationships, or care for themselves. They may present with depression, anxiety, ADHD, or trauma-related symptoms, and are looking for support that goes beyond just symptom control.
Their needs include:
A thorough evaluation of their psychiatric history, lifestyle, and current stressors
Clear communication and education about their diagnosis and treatment options
A safe, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and respected
A treatment plan that balances medication management with psychosocial support, lifestyle changes, or therapy referrals as needed
Their goals may include:
Regaining motivation, focus, or energy to engage with daily life
Reducing anxiety or panic that disrupts their functioning
Improving sleep and concentration
Managing emotions more effectively in relationships or at work
Ultimately, they want to feel in control of their mental health, not overwhelmed by it. They seek practical, compassionate care that helps them return to a stable, fulfilling life.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and mood disorders. I have experience working with adults and older adults in both in-person and telehealth settings, including skilled nursing facilities and outpatient care.
I focus on providing personalized, evidence-based care that considers the whole person — including their medical history, lifestyle, cultural background, and goals. My approach often includes medication management, but also emphasizes psychoeducation, supportive therapy, and collaboration with other healthcare providers when needed.
I strive to create a safe, respectful environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to take an active role in their care. My goal is to support people not only in reducing symptoms, but also in building resilience and improving their overall quality of life.
I want my patients to know that I genuinely care about their well-being, and I understand that reaching out for mental health support can be a vulnerable step. I strive to provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly listened to — without judgment.
As someone who values cultural humility and open communication, I’m here to meet you where you are. Whether you’re struggling with daily stress, navigating complex emotions, or managing a long-term condition, I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your goals and your life.
Mental health is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is care. I’m committed to walking alongside you with compassion and patience as you move toward healing and stability. If you’re thinking about starting care, I encourage you to reach out. You don’t have to go through this alone.
