My ideal clients are BIPOC and vulnerable youth, along with their families, who face systemic barriers to mental health and social support. They often grapple with issues such as marginalization, systemic racism, cultural alienation, and mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, or intergenerational conflict. These clients need a safe, affirming space to process their experiences and access culturally responsive interventions that honor their identities and lived experiences. They also require advocacy and resources to navigate inequitable systems in schools, healthcare, and housing. Their goals include feeling empowered in their cultural identity, building resilience, fostering healthy family and community relationships, and developing the tools to cope with stress while achieving personal and academic success. Ultimately, they seek understanding, validation, and guidance from a provider who recognizes their realities and supports their journey to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

As a therapist, I would provide compassionate, individualized care that addresses the unique needs of BIPOC and vulnerable youth, as well as their families. I focus on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and challenges. Using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive interventions, I help clients process systemic stressors, build resilience, and strengthen their emotional well-being.

I also prioritize fostering open communication within families, helping to repair and enhance relationships strained by intergenerational or cultural differences. By incorporating advocacy into my practice. My goal is to empower clients to embrace their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve their personal and collective goals.

I want my clients to know that I am deeply passionate about the work I do as a therapist. Supporting individuals, families, and communities through life’s challenges is not just my profession but my calling. I am committed to creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued for who you are. I understand the impact that systemic inequities and life experiences can have on mental health, and I am here to help you navigate those challenges with compassion and care.

My approach is collaborative, meaning we’ll work together to identify your strengths, address your concerns, and build the tools you need to thrive. I bring not only professional expertise but also genuine empathy and respect for your journey. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your family, know that you are not alone, and reaching out is a courageous first step.

I believe in the power of healing, growth, and resilience.
