Jessica earned her MSW from the University of Washington and is currently working towards independent licensure under the supervision of Gordon Zhang, LMFT. She has a background in community mental health and has worked primarily with adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Jessica practices therapy through a trauma-informed lens with a therapeutic style guided by the experiences of the individual as well as the systems that impact their lives. As a child of immigrants, she strives to provide an empathetic space for clients to process issues related to racial, intercultural and intergenerational trauma. Jessica is an LGBTQIA2S+-affirming therapist who has worked with clients of diverse backgrounds experiencing anger issues, grief and loss, perinatal and postnatal depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, PTSD and issues related to aging.

Jessica uses a psychodynamic approach that includes practices from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative and schema therapies. She strives to help clients reduce suffering, negative self-talk and reactivity to make room for healthier relationships, greater self-awareness, better decision-making and ultimately—more fulfilling lives. A lifelong Buddhist and musician, she helps clients integrate mindfulness and sound therapy into their work—to center the heart as well as the mind.
