Ariana Canevari, SWAICL

Licensed Social Work Associate & Independent Clinical

I am a clinician at our Federal Way clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal client is someone who has experienced significant trauma, often rooted in childhood, and is now navigating complex emotional, relational, or system challenges. They may come from backgrounds involving foster care, broken homes, or early parenthood, and have survived environments where they felt unseen, unsupported, or unsafe. These clients are often highly resilient but carry the weight of chronic stress, grief, and or unresolved wounds.
Their needs typically include emotional regulation, identity development I moment, and rebuilding trust-both in themselves and in others. Many are parents who want to break the generational cycles of trauma and are seeking support not only for themselves but for their families. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or challenges related to self worth and boundaries. Their goals often revolve around self empowerment, creating stability, emotional balance, and connectedness. Ultimately they want to heal and live differently.

I specialize in working with individuals and families who have experienced complex trauma- especially those impacted by childhood adversity, systems involvement, or generational cycles of instability.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and rooted in both clinical knowledge and real life understanding. I know what it’s like to grow up in survival mode, I bring that awareness into my work. I help clients explore the impact of their past while focusing on building that support stability, healing, and growth in the present.
I offer space where you can be honest, where you won’t be judged, where you don’t have to explain everything to be understood. We work together to identify patterns, process emotions, set boundaries, and reestablish a sense of safety and self worth. I’m especially passionate about helping parents who want to break cycles and raise their children with more support, connection, and intention than they received themselves.
My goal is to walk alongside you, not fix you. To help uncover the strength and clarity that’s already within you. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, grief, family dynamics, or just trying to find direction, I’m here to help you reconnect with who you are and move toward the life you want to build.

I truly see and respect the strength it takes just to keep going- especially when life has been heavy for a long time. Reaching out for help can feel uncomfortable or even scary, but you don’t gave to have everything figured out to begin. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just know something need to change, that’s enough.
My approach to therapy is grounded in real connection. I don’t expect perfection. I don’t judge. I offer a space where you can bring your full self-messy, tired, guarded, hopeful- whatever it looks like. I’ve lived through some of the same challenges my clients face, and that experience helps me lead with empathy, understanding, and a deep respect for your resilience.
Therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to “fix” you- I’m here to support you while you reconnect with your voice, your worth, and your goals. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, family struggles, or parenting stress, you don’t have to face it alone.
What matters most to me is that you feel safe, seen, and supported. I meet you where you are, and we move forward together. I believe healing is possible- not because it’s easy, but because I’ve seen it happen, over and over again, in people who never thought it was an option.
If you’re curious about therapy or just want to talk through whether it’s the right step for you, I welcome you. You deserve care that’s honest, compassionate, and tailored to your experience. I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
Reach out when you’re ready- I’ll be here.
