Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
I am a clinician at our Redmond Medical Center clinic who provides therapy services!
I have experience working with those who are navigating life transitions, struggling with self-doubt, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress. These challenges may show up in relationships, self-identity, or difficulty managing emotions, leaving them feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward. Despite these struggles, there is a longing for clarity and a desire to create a greater sense of balance and purpose. This person seeks understanding and validation, along with practical tools to manage emotions and enhance mental well-being. They value a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Building a collaborative relationship with a therapist who truly sees and values their individuality is an important part of their journey. With an ultimate goal is to develop healthier coping strategies, build self-confidence, and cultivate more meaningful connections. By gaining insight into behaviors and patterns, they hope to create a life that feels authentic and aligned with their values. There’s a deep motivation to embrace this work, driven by the desire to experience greater peace, resilience, and live a more meaningful life.
As a person-centered therapist, I like to meet everyone where they’re at when we’re in session. I value creating an environment that is warm and understanding. I see therapy as a team effort. From a foundation of non-judgment and compassion, we will work together to form goals that reflect you and your needs. My goal is to utilize theory and evidence-based practices that best fit each individual, pulling from ACT, DBT, parts work, and others as necessary. I also believe therapy works best when the whole person is considered; balancing mental health requires exploring how biological, social, spiritual, and psychological aspects of life are (or aren’t) working together. Therapy can be challenging and uncomfortable, but this is where healing can begin. You and your therapeutic needs may change, and vulnerability is a vital part of the journey. There will be ups and downs, but you don’t have to go at it alone—I view healing and growth as an ongoing process, and it is an honor to walk alongside you and witness your story unfold. Together, we can create a space where you feel safe to explore your inner world, uncover patterns, and build resilience. My hope is to empower you to overcome/manage life’s challenges and build a deeper connection with yourself and others.
Hiking with my dog is one of my favorite ways to connect with nature and recharge. Creativity is also a big part of my world—I love learning new crafts, trying new gluten free recipes, losing myself in a good book, and playing music. Each of these passions helps me feel grounded, inspired, and connected to the things that truly matter. I value living life at a slower pace, which allows me to savor these experiences fully.
