Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

Hello! My name is Abby Staley (she/they). I am a clinician at our Fremont clinic who provides therapy services!
I take a client-centered approach to therapy, integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) within a trauma-informed framework. I often work with children and adolescents, though I welcome clients across the lifespan. My focus areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationships, life transitions, and gender/identity/LGBTQ+ affirming care. From an Relational-Cultural Therapy perspective, I believe human relationships have the power to heal.
Therapy is a collaborative process—one built on authenticity, empathy, and trust. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel seen and supported. Guided by social justice and ongoing growth, I meet clients where they’re at to explore experiences and foster healing through connection.
My goal is to help clients feel grounded, connected, and empowered in their healing journey. I provide a nonjudgmental and inclusive space where clients can explore their internal worlds, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful growth, supporting them in connecting more deeply with themselves and their communities.
