I am a clinician at our Northgate clinic who offers therapy services!
I work with individuals who may have experienced trauma at some point in their lives, and who may be feeling the effects of those past events, whether from early childhood or more recent struggles. Trauma doesn’t always just “go away,” and for many, it’s something they continue to navigate. If you’re looking to not just survive, but thrive despite your past, I’d love to work with you to help you safely process those memories, heal, and build a sense of hope for the future.
My approach is centered on three key steps: safety, intervention, and empowerment. Building a strong rapport with my clients is essential, and I believe that a trusting, compassionate relationship is the foundation for healing. I take a person-centered approach, focusing on your individual needs and strengths, and I incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to best support you. These include but are not limited to, Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Therapy for Recovery (CT-R), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
Everyone comes to therapy with unique needs and reasons for seeking support, and there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach. I want you to feel comfortable using our time together in the way that feels most healing and helpful to you, without added pressure or expectations. Feel free to express any thoughts, emotions, or concerns without fear of judgment—I’m here to listen with an open heart and mind.
I believe that therapy is a journey, and it may take a few sessions to determine if we are the right fit to work together. Once we’ve built that connection, we’ll create a tailored plan to help you reach your goals and support your healing process.
I’m especially passionate about working with individuals who are motivated for change, open to self-exploration, and seeking greater self-awareness. Whether you’re feeling lost, disconnected, or overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or anything else- I strive to create space for healing, growth, and self-compassion.
