Anastasia Strand, LICSW

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

My name is Anastasia and I have been working in social work for about 7 years. I offer therapy services at our Fremont clinic.

I started my career in a school social work position, moving to children and family therapy, and then transitioned into my most recent role working with adults in a case management and therapeutic role.
Over the course of my experience with clients, I have developed an eclectic approach. I find myself using modalities from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy all from a trauma-informed lens. Each session is built with your stated goals and needs, and I match your pace with appropriate interventions.

Whether your goals are to work through past experiences, learn how cope with distressing feelings, develop ways to create boundaries, or rediscover yourself through your stories, I will be here to support you through it all.
I hope the space we create allows you the opportunity to find gentleness towards yourself as you pursue your goals.

I know that allowing someone to walk alongside you is a privilege, and I don’t take for granted the role I get to play as we work on your goals. I am looking forward to being in your corner and seeing what you accomplish during our time together and beyond.
