Gabrielle Miller, SWAICL

Social Worker

Hello good people, I provide therapy services at our Tacoma, WA clinic.

Here is something about me: I served as a Simon Family Endowment MSW Autism Fellow at UW Tacoma graduate school during the pandemic. I like to counsel a variety of clients, but I specialize in counseling adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and their families/caregivers. I start with unconditional positive regard to build trust and rapport. We’ll create a treatment plan with your chosen goals. Improvement is gradual and sustained. Therapeutic harp music is available to help with relaxation. I offer both telehealth/video appointments and in-person sessions.

Discovering ways to relax and reframe your thoughts can help you get unstuck. Therapeutic music helps you find peace and joy through mindful listening. Exploring gentle, resonant sounds on a musical instrument opens a refreshing experience of healing and whole-body wellness. Let go of anxiety and embrace tranquility.

You don’t need to wait until you are experiencing distress to reach out for help. You can explore change without fear and develop new skills at any time. I will meet you where you are on your healing journey and help you navigate a path to wellness. I tailor sessions to meet your individual needs. Let me help you to create a meaningful and balanced life.
