Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Hello my name is Badou Ngum. I am a licensed associate clinical social worker who offers therapy services at our Northgate clinic. I have experience working with children , teens and adults. Ages ranging from 6 to 45 years old. I believe in the idea of empathy and understanding which will be my core focus when it comes to the clients I’ll be working with. A person centered approach where my clients get to make their own decision to help build confidence within one another and to help create a space that is validating and comforting.

Together, we can build communication and coping skills using cognitive behavioral therapy, strength based and solution focused strategies to help my clients feel the most complete in a space where they can express their emotions.

I believe in the idea of self discovery and helping my clients grow in areas they once felt uncomfortable. Going to counseling can be hard for some which is why I strive to create a space that is non judgmental and safe. I look forward to working with you throughout this therapeutic journey.
