Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

I am a clinician at our Fremont clinic.
I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of the future. As a former school counselor, I bring firsthand knowledge about the world young people navigate daily, and actionable ways to make it more manageable. I help clients facing depression, challenging life transitions, anxiety, and the realities of living with chronic illness. As someone with 21 years of lived experience with Type One Diabetes, I understand the invisible mental load that comes with managing a chronic illness. This understanding shapes our work together, creating a judgment free, welcoming space.
My main theoretical approaches pull from Psychodynamic, ACT, and Humanistic, creating a holistic and integrative view. Areas of focus are life transitions, depression, anxiety, living with chronic illness, and working with teens and young adults. I offer a warm, inviting space where even the hardest emotions are welcomed, wanted, and validated.
Whether you’re a concerned parent, overwhelmed adult, or a teen needing someone in their corner, this isn’t something you need to face alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you. Reaching out is brave, and I’m ready when you are.
