Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hello! My name is Nick thunder, a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) at our Northgate clinic. Born and raised in the greater Seattle area I have been practicing behavioral health for well over a decade. I emphasize a humanistic, relational, and process oriented approach to individual talk therapy. Utilizing diverse modalities including cognitive behavioral therapies, Narrative Therapy, and Existential Humanistic Therapy I work with adolescence and adults with complete and total consideration to each individuals unique context, background, and perspectives.
My specialties include anxiety disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, mood disorders including depression and Bipolar disorder, major life changes or transitions, aging related concerns, grief/loss, substance misuse, and many others.
I strongly believe therapy is an experiential and transformative process driven by a dynamic partnership committed to self-exploration.
