Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Hello! My name is Michele, a mental health counselor at our Anderson Park clinic in Redmond, WA who provides therapy services.

I have a masters in clinical psychology and am pursuing my MFT license in addition to my Mental health counselor license. I have worked primarily in school with kids and adolescents for the past three years and am looking to expand my experience with other populations. My goal as a clinician is firstly to establish trust, and build rapport, and understand the client’s reason for coming to therapy.

Depending on the client’s personality type and goals, I will utilize different modalities such as CBT, DBT, relational and solution based therapy to help the client achieve said goals. My strength as a clinician is my ability to deeply empathize with individuals, as well as my non reactivity.

I am confident in my ability to connect with people, and build the trust necessary to establish a successful prognosis. I am extremely passionate about helping people and wanting to become the best clinician I can be. I encourage feedback in the therapy room and will work collaboratively with the client to help them feel success in their time spent with me.
