Melanie Santiago, SWAICL

Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical License

Hi, I’m Melanie Santiago, LSWAIC. I offer therapy services at our Renton, WA clinic!

I have a background in early childhood education and youth and family therapy. I support children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in play therapy, attachment-based work, strength-center, and CBT/DBT. I also have training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH).
I work with young children, school-age youth, teens, and caregivers. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to support your child, you’re not alone. I’m here to support you.

I support children, teens, and families using play-based, attachment-focused, and CBT/DBT-informed approaches. Together we explore emotions, strengthen coping skills, and improve communication. I also integrate IECMH-informed work to support early relationships and emotional development.

I bring a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental presence to therapy, honoring each person’s pace and story. I’m especially passionate about helping children and caregivers feel more connected and understood. I look forward to walking alongside you as you build insight, healing, and meaningful change together.
