Clinically Licensed Social Worker
Hello. My name is Krysten Bailey and I am a clinically licensed social worker at our Tacoma clinic. I have worked with children, teens, and youth in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient therapy, community mental health, support groups, and in day care. I am an energetic, caring, and kind person. I will provide a safe and playful space for those who are struggling with mental health concerns. I understand the developmental differences that impact children and how to adopt the care your child will receive. Children’s voices are just as important as adults. I will foster those feelings and experiences to create an inclusive space for all.
I incorporate a lot of activity and expressive arts into my practice. I believe in the power of play and use this as a strength to help children in the language they know and understand. I have the most experience working with anxiety, depression, adhd and trauma. I am also well versed in grief and loss. I am creative and always willing to learn.
Seeking support can often be a difficult task, as there are a variety of factors and barriers to receiving proper care. I am here to ensure your therapeutic experience will be beneficial and aid in your healing. We will work as a team to find ways to cope, adapt, process, and accept who we are, regardless of what we are suffering from.
