Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Hello! I’m Kate Howell, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). I provide therapy services at our Edmonds clinic.
I work with clients from early adolescence through young adulthood, and I have a background in providing school-based mental health therapy to adolescents. My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental, collaborative space where you feel understood and empowered. My person-centered approach sees you as the expert on your own life, and I’ll come alongside you to support you as you build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful change.
I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, identity, relationships, and family conflict. Together, we can talk through what’s going on, explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and, when useful, work on practical strategies you can use outside of therapy.
You are worthy of respect and acceptance exactly as you are. You are not a problem that needs to be fixed. Wherever you’re at, we can focus on better understanding yourself, building confidence, and moving toward what matters to you. I’d be honored to get to know you and be part of that journey.
