Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
My name is Alyssa and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Substance Use Disorder Professional at our Seattle – Northgate clinic. I practice firmly from a perspective of person-centered, trauma-informed, and harm-reductive care with the goal of working towards each person’s individualized goals. I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing chronic pain and chronic illness, trauma, and addiction. I am also experienced in working with people who are managing challenging relationships and family systems, identity exploration, medication change, life transitions, and crisis management.
I am a co-occuring therapist working with individuals from a social work framework and integrating components of mental health treatment and harm reduction care into my treatment of Patients.
Each person has individualized needs that I address using combinations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
