Master of Social Work
Hi, I’m Mya Wood. I provide therapy services at our Edmonds clinic.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver Online and hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Washington State University. My background includes healthcare and community-based work with youth and families. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Wherever you are in your journey, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life changes. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, develop coping strategies, and work toward healing, self-understanding, and growth.
Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted. I look forward to walking alongside you as we work toward your goals of healing and growth.
