Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Hello there! My name is Angela, and I am a therapist here at the Anderson Park clinic in Redmond.
My education includes a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, with additional training in trauma-informed narrative therapy through the Allender Center. My counseling experience includes working with adults across the lifespan from young adults to seniors. I also have experience in the education field working with children from kindergarten to teenagers with a focus on helping with math, writing, and reading literacy. I enjoy working with clients from every age and life stage.
My therapeutic approach is relational and person-centered. I understand the stories that may have shaped your style of relating and coping skills that once served to protect you may now be holding you back from your goals in life by causing you to become stuck. I hope we can work on processing these and finding different ways of moving forward together.
