License Mental Health Counselor

I am a License Mental Health Counselor and I offer therapy services at our Tacoma clinic.

I have been in the mental health field for a decade. In that time I have worked in substance abuse rehabs, inpatient mental health hospitals, military bases, and finally my own private practice. My specialties are substance abuse work, and helping people through difficult events in their lives such as relationship issues, increases in anxiety/depression, and dealing with life stressors with work/family/finances.

Therapy is all about making connection, if you make a worthwhile connection you can accomplish anything including making changes you didn’t think possible. I want my main goal to be that I can understand where the person sitting across from me is coming from, who they truly are, and help them get to a place they are trying to go.

I really try to think about having new views on life. I am a big believer in both conventional and unconventional ways of dealing with the obstacles that life/society throws at us. I want to hear about where a person is and where they think they want to go, and be the best guide I can be to get there.
