Tracy Goergen is an associate marriage and family therapist with a background in children and family systems. Tracy earned her MA in Marriage and Family therapy at Alliant University San Diego and her BA in Psychology at California State University Northridge. She is practicing currently under the supervision of Ari Gartin, LMHC. Tracy previously worked as a school therapist with children ages 6-13 along with their families and has experience working with different cultures, demographics, and the LGBTQIA+ community. 

In addition to working with children, adolescents, and families, Tracy has a background in athletic coaching and working through anxieties or fears that may come from the spotlight or prior trauma that is related. Her experience has been mostly in the world of Equestrian sports, but Tracy is passionate about working with those who are struggling with performance related fears or want to heal after trauma. 

Tracy takes a collaborative approach to therapy and wants you to be as involved in the process as she is. Through therapeutic models like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Tracy will help find what works for you and your healing journey. Learn interventions like mindfulness, relaxation, and affirmations that you can practice outside of the therapy room and feel like you are on the way to achieving your therapeutic goals.
