Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am a provider at our Tacoma, WA clinic who offers psychiatry services!

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with full Prescriptive authority in the state of Washington. My educational background includes a Masters degree as a Family Nurse practitioner from Walden University as well as a Post-Masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from National University. I am dual certified, but my passion is Psychiatry. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psycho-education and supportive counseling. I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 11 years and counting.

My practice is open to clients with a variety of psychiatric and mental health disorders to include but not limited to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, OCD, insomnia, and ADHD/ADD. I treat a variety of age ranges of patients.

My clients have experienced treatment that is client centered, evidence based, and that recognizes the uniqueness of all individuals. I am a compassionate, caring, and empathetic provider. I actually listen to my clients and believe in working together to find a plan that fits my clients individual goals, beliefs, and lifestyle.
