Licensed Menta Health Counselor Associate
My name is Bethany Baril and I am an associate clinician. I offer therapy services at our Redmond Medical Center clinic. I work with both youth and adult clients. I believe therapy works best when a client has developed trust and safety, allowing clients to show up as their authentic self. My goal is to create a space where client’s feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment— a space where you can explore your experiences, make sense of your emotions, and create a meaning in life. I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to make the process collaborative, respectful, and empowering.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, affirming, and strengths based. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have a strong focus on supporting neurodivergent individuals. I am committed to helping clients develop a deeper understanding of how their brains and experiences shape their identities.
Rather than approaching therapy from a “fixing” perspective, I focus on recognizing strengths, empowering neurodiversity, and develop skills to navigate emotions, sensory experiences, and life’s challenges. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally responsive.
