Kaleigh Pettis is a Marriage and Family Therapist who takes a holistic approach to therapy. She has worked with clients from many different backgrounds who experience varying therapeutic needs and currently specializes in working with teenage girls and women.
Kaleigh graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2009 from California State University Fullerton and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012 from Loma Linda University. She has been in the therapy field for 10 years working with clients who have experienced anxiety, depression, generational and specific trauma, relationship issues, stress, lack of self-esteem and self-confidence, parenting issues, spirituality, and other concerns.
Kaleigh uses a variety of modalities in her therapeutic approach, including family systems, spirituality, Eastern philosophies, psychodynamic theory, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, attachment, and solution focused theories. She loves to utilize meditation, journaling, and other interventions in session. She strives to meet each client where they’re at and views each person as whole and unique. She aims to create a warm and understanding therapeutic relationship knowing that the basis for each client’s growth, healing, and change is trust.
